Project overview

Connecting Career Readiness in Lancaster County.

Inspire Lancaster connects students, educators, employers, and families through a shared platform for discovering and participating in work-based learning opportunities across Lancaster County.

The Challenge

Lancaster County needed a better way to connect businesses offering internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and mentoring with the schools and students seeking those opportunities.

Earlier versions of the platform also faced usability and accessibility challenges that made participation more difficult.

The Solution

QNTM redesigned and rebuilt Inspire Lancaster using WordPress, introducing an improved user experience for students, employers, and community partners.

Businesses can register, create opportunities, and manage their listings, while students can build profiles and explore experiences that align with their interests.

Additional enhancements include mobile-responsive design, accessibility improvements, an events module, and interactive dashboards for students and employers.

The 2025 release further expanded communication and reporting capabilities.

The Impact

Inspire Lancaster has evolved into a central digital hub connecting education and industry throughout Lancaster County.

The platform makes opportunities easier to discover, simplifies participation for employers, and provides community partners with better tools to manage engagement and evaluate program activity.

QNTM has been an invaluable partner in advancing workforce development in Lancaster County, serving as a vital thought partner in the development and implementation of our Inspire Lancaster program, an online platform connecting students with meaningful work-based learning opportunities. Their ability to see the big picture while understanding the unique roles and contributions of each sector has helped us think more strategically about how our community's workforce ecosystem can work together. At the center of this work, QNTM helps us align partners, build collaborative solutions, and turn strategy into action to address our region's workforce challenges.
